“As a young man, Muhammad Ali was my hero because he refused to fight in that Vietnam war…”

“I’m a drummer for a band and we’re playing a gig tonight. I have a bit of time to kill before the show so I’m just walking around, not really going anywhere…”

Hamilton, the city of love.

HIM: “Love is being with this woman right here. I’m from Toronto, I live in Toronto and she lives here so I don’t get to see her all the time, but when I see her, that feeling I get, that’s love.”

HER: “It’s the butterflies”

“If God was standing with us here right now and you could ask him for anything, what would it be?”

“To heal my back pain.”

“we’ve been married longer than you’ve been alive.”

“When you hug someone for more than 8 seconds, it increases your oxytocin which lowers your stress hormones and reduces your blood pressure and makes you trust people more.”

“What’s oxytocin?”

“It’s the hormone that allows you to make a deep connection with others. It’s also called the hormone of love.”

“Really?”

“I couldn’t make this up.”

Well, I did my research and it turns out it’s actually 20 seconds, not 8.

I’ve been divorced for 15 years. My wife decided to do it, I didn’t. It was my wife’s choice. See, back then I wasn’t a christian, okay. I threatened to kill her, but I’d never do it. I said it, but I’d never do it… I got charged, put in jail and… anyway… I’m praying to see my kids again…and my wife. If you put this on your site and they see it, I want them to know that I’d like to see them again…

“What’s one thing that makes you sad?”

“One thing that makes me sad is kids that are brought into this world and they’re already in a poverty environment; they don’t get chance to grow up properly, they don’t get the kid’s life, you know what i mean? it’s sad, man…”

“I’m about to become a father, my wife is pregnant with twins.”

“Three valentine’s days ago I went vegan as a gift to mother nature, she was my valentine.”
